March 11

Today we have started to pack.
Two more nights

March 7

We took a boat cruise up the Guardiana river.   This is the border between Portugal and Spain

They took us to a small village for lunch.  Only 17 people live in the village.  There used to be 80 inhabitants but they have moved to the city.  However the restaurant was fabulous  that is used for the boat tours.  The staff sang for us

March 8

A bus trip organized by the owner of the Canadian bar to a soccer game.   Canadian ladies vs Sweden

March 8

Watching curling at the Canadian bar

Tuesday, March 5, 2019

Our next stop was Baleeira.  The most south western point in Europe

Lagos was the last stop

I think this will be our last "old town " for awhile

March 5

Happy shrove Tuesday

Today we were in on a 1 day bus trip

First stop  Silves.  A moorish castle on top of a hill.   John found a bake shop for a custard tart

Our next destination was up the mountain.   It is the highest point in the algarve.   The picture is the restaurant where we had lunch.   It was halfway down.   The weather was horrible.   Raining, windy and very thick fog, we could not see a thing
